By the end of 2024, the total domestic titanium dioxide production capacity had reached 6.05 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 16.5% compared to 2023. The companies that expanded their capacity and translated it into actual production mainly included LB Group, CNNC Titanium Dioxide, Inner Mongolia Guocheng, and Guangxi Youcan. The total output for 2024 reached 4.766 million tons, an increase of 606,000 tons compared to 2023, representing a growth rate of 14.57%—a record high in overall production.
